South African Cabernet Sauvignon is plain delicious and this wine represents amazing value for money. Journey’s End are one of South Africa’s most sustainable producers, running a plethora of initiatives across their estate; from beehives that encourage pollination, water preservation, Egyptian runner ducks that eat insects to Eagle owls that catch rodents. In addition to work in the vineyard, they were Fairtrade certified in 2017, the second winery in South Africa to be run entirely on solar power and in 2020 launched the Journey’s End Foundation which provides over 10,000 meals a week to local residents. A true example of social and environmental awareness in business.
