Overview

wine information

Bonarda is Argentina’s second most planted grape variety, yet often overshadowed by it’s more famous sibling, Malbec. However, when sufficient care is taken, Bonarda produces stunning single varietal wines in it’s own right. The Catena family have made this wine as a homage to traditional winemaking practices – fruit from old vines in Southeastern Mendoza, fermentation with native yeasts and oak aging for 18 months. A wine that more than competes with it’s Malbec brother.
