We have been inundated with requests to bring back our legendary Legacy menu, which brought joy to diners last year as you rediscovered dishes from the past to celebrate 30 Years of Gaucho. We listened and it’s coming back this July!

For the month of July, experience this awesome collection of dishes from across our history for our 31st Anniversary. Available at lunch and dinner Monday – Thursday at all Gaucho restaurants*.

To pay homage to our rich history, we will be relaunching a special nostalgic menu. The exclusive Gaucho Legacy menu, available from 1st to 31st July, features iconic dishes that have defined Gaucho’s journey. Our Legacy menu will be available for just £31 for three courses.

About the dishes

Dish highlights from the vaults include Ecuadorian Ceviche, debuted in 2012, when Gaucho became the first restaurant to bring the now-ubiquitous cured fish dish to London. It will be followed by Lomo a la Milanese – an Argentinian staple made famous by its Italian immigrant community, which showcases high-quality steak served breadcrumbed in Milanese style, first served to diners in 2008. All will be rounded off with the OG Dulce de Leche Pancakes – using the same Dulce de Leche recipe from Gaucho’s opening in 1994.  

Our Past and Future

Founded in 1994, we opened our first restaurant in London Piccadilly, which remains Gaucho’s flagship. Since humble beginnings in the basement of the building – which was once the Spanish ambassador’s residence – it now occupies all four floors as a sprawling 320-cover restaurant. For the past 30 years Gaucho expanded across London and the UK, where we now have eight restaurants in the capital and 12 in England, Wales and Scotland and continue to introduce new locations and continually refined and elevated menus.

 
 

About Us

Gaucho began its story with a deep admiration for Argentina: its vibrant people, captivating lifestyle, rich culture and renowned culinary heritage. Inspired by the enchanting gaucho way of life and the desire to bring the essence of modern Argentina to London, the first Gaucho opened its doors in the West End’s Piccadilly, 30 years ago. Since then, we have firmly established ourselves by serving the world’s finest, carbon-neutral steaks alongside Latin American cuisine and the UK’s most extensive selection of indigenous Malbec wines. With 20 restaurants in total, we now have 12 outposts in London and eight more in vibrant cities across the UK.
