The Rare Wine Club is an elite experiential environment for discerning drinkers who appreciate all aspects of wine. It gives the opportunity to access an elevated level of knowledge via a unique platform for members to consume, learn about and purchase the world’s best wine, via one of the UK’s leading restaurant groups.
The Rare Wine Club, in partnership with various wineries, is hosting a series of wine-maker dinners, themed around the most popular wine regions.
Rare Restaurants is an accredited trainer of Wine Spirits Education Trust (WSET) affiliated courses. WSET qualifications are internationally regarded as the global benchmark for wine and spirits education. The majority of the world’s sommeliers will have received at least a WSET qualification.
We have selected a band of engaging, knowledgeable people on our wine team across our restaurants to become trainers. They promise excellent teaching, delivered with the same passion and enthusiasm which you have when it comes to wine. Training will take place in the iconic private dining room The Wine Room at Gaucho Piccadilly, taught by home-grown Gaucho wine educators.
The Level One course takes one day to complete; Level Two, three days with at least six hours private study required.

£250 for one-day course Level One – including a Gaucho lunch
£450 for three-day Level Two course – including Gaucho lunch each day
