Partnership · World Malbec Day 2026
A curated month-long wine menu honouring Argentina’s most beloved grape, available across all Gaucho restaurants from 17th April 2026.
In celebration of World Malbec Day on 17th April 2026, Gaucho is joining forces with celebrated wine writer, author and broadcaster Hannah Crosbie to showcase exceptional wines from Terrazas de los Andes – the high-altitude Mendoza winery whose vineyards stretch from 1,070m to 1,650m above sea level in the shadow of the Andes.
The collaboration marks the day in 1853 that Malbec was first introduced to Argentina – a moment that transformed the country’s winemaking identity forever. The curated menu will run for one month only across all 19 Gaucho restaurants in London and across the UK.
Terrazas de los Andes’ Guardians of Mountain Life initiative commits the winery to regenerative viticulture across its estate-grown vineyard parcels – ensuring that biodiversity and altitude remain intrinsic to every bottle. Led by Hannah Crosbie and Estate Director of Terrazas de los Andes, Lucas Löwi, this exclusive menu collaboration features four exceptional wines spanning both Malbec expressions and two further varietals.
