On Thursday 8TH June, Gaucho threw a star-studded party to celebrate the opening of our newest venue in Covent Garden. The launch saw queues forming down the street, with guests being greeted by tantalising tango dancers and polo ponies. Entertainment was provided by resident DJs, and radio DJ presenter Tyler West; as well as an exclusive performance from BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s resident choreographers Maria Tsiatsiani and Leandro Palou. Guests enjoyed Pommery champagne, Whispering Angel rosé and signature cocktails; along with an array of light bites including Steak Tartare, Seabass Ceviche and mini burgers, showcasing our Spring Summer mouth-watering menu. Guests danced into the early hours, celebrating the official launch night.

We are excited to announce that we will be participating in London Cocktail Week this year in partnership with Discarded Spirits, who specialize in top-quality spirits from zero waste ingredients. We welcome all wristband holders to try three exclusive cocktails, all of which are made with 100% sustainable ingredients and edible garnishes. Cocktails include; Pecan Old Fashioned, Raspberry Americano, Reconstructed Mojito.
Also, we’re offering event-goers a set menu with two or three courses, made to pair with the limited time only cocktails or simply enjoy 25% off our A La Carte menu.
The Roots Bar Takeover

The two winners of the Roots No-Low Greek Aperativo Competition are coming to town and making their award-winning drinks at Gaucho Charlotte Street during a bar takeover!
Roots is a range of non-alcoholic vermouths and low alcoholic craft liqueurs and are handcrafted, based on age-old herbal remedies and natural native ingredients of Greece.
George Moudiotis was the winner of the non-alcoholic Roots Greek aperitivo. His cocktail “Olivens Tårar” which in Swedish means olive tears, is a combination of Roots Divino Bianco non-alcoholic vermouth with olive homemade soda.
Thanos Sideris was the winner of the Low Alcohol Roots Greek Aperativo with his “Pontzi” aperitif. He uses Roots Rakomelo mountain honey liqueur and Roots Diktamo wild herbs liqueur with wild orchid and pine soda, based on a tales and winter drink from the Greek mountains.
Both cocktails will be priced at £7 for LCW wristband holders. We will also be offering our zero waste cocktails sponsored by Discarded spirits, which are part of our London Cocktail Week menu! These include Banana & Pecan Old Fashioned and the Raspberry Americano.
