Gaucho Newcastle Launches With Star-studded Party

Ahead of our official opening on Saturday 11th March, Gaucho Newcastle threw one of the biggest star-studded parties the City has ever seen last night, in honour of the Sir Graham Wylie Foundation and NUFC Foundation Community Hub NUCASTLE—our two chosen charities to support within the city.

To celebrate our arrival in Newcastle, we hosted, along with Alan Shearer and Lee Westwood an opening party to raise further funds to the Sir Graham Wylie Foundation and NUFC Foundation Community Hub NUCASTLE. Current first team players of north east clubs, joined local celebrities Faye Tozer, Jill Halfpenny, Charlie Hardwick, and legends of sport Patrick Roberts, Dan Burn, Mateo Carreras, Steve Watson,  Darius Defoe and Steve Harmison at the event.

The restaurant launch saw queues forming down the street from 7:00pm, with guests being greeted by two Gaucho Argentine polo ponies. Entertainment was provided by local resident DJ Suzee Wood as well as an exclusive performance from the iconic DJ The Shapeshifters.

Gaucho also surprised their guests with a sensational performance from World Champion Tango dancers Emma Lucia Reyes and Carlos Cisneros. Winners at the UK Tango Championships and the World Tango Competition in Buenos Aires. The couple have recently performed at Strictly Come Dancing with the Stars alongside the Strictly professionals. They have been trained and mentored by world-class dancers Leandro Palou and Maria Tsiatsiani, who are resident choreographers at Strictly Come Dancing.

Gaucho Newcastle has well and truly raised the bar for all future openings and is set to take the city by storm, becoming a favourite restaurant within the region.

Gaucho Newcastle will be opening their doors to the public from Saturday the 11th March and are taking bookings – BOOK NOW
